Summary

Job Post – Temporary Chief Officer Required (Medical Leave Cover)

•            A temporary Chief Officer is urgently needed for a 60m M/Y, starting ASAP to allow for a handover with the current Chief Officer who is going on medical leave. The position will be for a minimum of 6 weeks, with the potential to extend up to 10 weeks.

•            An owner trip is scheduled shortly, which will be based in port for one week. Following that, the vessel will head to Monaco for the boat show.

•            Location: Montenegro

•            Requirements: CM3000 and Transas Type-Specific certification would be advantageous. All other certificates must be up to date.

•            Job Responsibilities:

•            Lead and manage the deck team, including a highly experienced bosun who runs the deck efficiently.

•            Maintain all bridge paperwork and ensure smooth clearance procedures in and out of port.

•            Oversee bridge operations and navigation.

•            Salary: USD 7,500 – 8,000 per month, depending on experience, plus holiday pay.

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• MCA CoC Chief Mate <3000gt

Specialised Security Courses

• Proficiency as Ship Security Officer (SSO) (A-VI/5)
