Summary
We are currently actively seeking a Permanent First mate to join a 40m+ Single Season Private Motor Yacht.
This role is specifically tailored for a qualified professional with experience serving as a Chief Officer or First Mate, who is eager to contribute to a high-standard private and charter yacht environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Captain in all onboard operations, ensuring safety protocols are maintained, and delivering exceptional service to guests during a single season of private and charter charters. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual looking to work on a luxurious vessel within a dynamic and vibrant marine setting. A candidate that is looking to step up into his first Chief Officer role will also be concidered.
Candidate requirements:
- Previous experience as a Chief Officer or First Mate or a Bosun looking to step up on similar-sized motor yachts
- Strong understanding of safety management and navigation procedures
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to manage decks, maintenance, and assist with operational duties
- Charter boat experience
- Calm and able to take instruction
- Yacht Master Offshore (Commercially Endorsed)
- AEC 1 & 2
- Valid STCW and ENG 1
- OOW Modules completed (Must have NaviSailor 4000 by Transas ECDIS Training-960min)
Package:
- Salary: $6,000 pcm
- Leave: 38 days paid leave per year
- Itinerary: Mediterranean
