About the Role
Join a, dual-season private 65 m motor yacht as a Rotational Chief Officer. You'll play a pivotal leadership role, guiding a close-knit deck team through the Mediterranean and Caribbean seasons.
Start Date & Rotation
- Start: 4th September 2025, with a dedicated handover period with your rotational counterpart.
- Rotation: Time-for-time schedule, such as 8 weeks on / 8 weeks off however first swing may be less, must be completely flexible to work with counterpart to best suit the boats schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Navigation & Bridge Management
- Plan, execute, and monitor safe passages, and keeping accurate navigational records.
- Stand navigational watches, ensuring full compliance with COLREGS and SOLAS regulations.
- Oversight of the maintenance and updates for the electronic charts, navigational publications, and bridge equipment. (Second officers main responsibility)
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with ISM/ISPS codes and MARPOL regulations.
- Lead regular safety drills as per ISM.
- Oversee maintenance of all lifesaving and firefighting equipment, keeping records in line with Flag State and Class requirements.
Deck Operations & Maintenance
- Overall co-ordination of all exterior maintenance.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of tenders, rescue boats, and watersports equipment.
- Plan and supervise anchoring, mooring, and docking procedures in collaboration with the Captain.
Crew Leadership & Development
- Lead the deck team, providing mentorship, performance evaluations, and training programs to ensure professional growth.
- Manage deck crew rotas, leave schedules, and workload distribution.
- Uphold a positive onboard culture, fostering teamwork and high morale.
Owner & Guest Interaction
- Ensure seamless guest experiences by coordinating with the owners to best fulfill their needs.
- Maintain professional, discreet, and responsive communication with the owner and guests.
What We Offer
- Salary: €7,500/month with a 3-month probation
- Benefits: Shared crew cabin, full medical coverage, time-for-time rotation,13th month bonus and training allowance.

Ideal Candidate Profile
- Holds Chief Mate 3000 GT (CM3000)
- Valid STCW Basic Safety Training, ENG1 medical, and B1/B2 / Schengen visa's
- Calm under pressure, organized, and a natural leader with proven ability to motivate and guide a deck team.
- Previous experience on similar-sized yachts, ideally in a rotational Chief Officer role.
