License: Master 500 (minimum), European nationalities only (per contract and flag compliance), B1B2 in hand is a plus. All certificates are valid min 6 months.
Requirements:
- Master 500 minimum (valid license)
- 5 years minimum experience on yachts
- Solid longevity and commitment on previous yachts (we prefer CVs showing stable positions, not short stints)
- Valid STCW and ENG1
- ECDIS course completed
- Driving license
- Familiarity with Mini ISM systems
- Prior experience or strong understanding of PMS systems - preferably IDEA Yacht
- Chase boat experience is a bonus (we already have a chase boat captain, but flexibility is appreciated)
- Fluent English - additional languages welcome
- Must be eligible to work under a Monaco contract
Candidate Profile:
- Hands-on and active on deck - this is not a desk-only position
- Team-oriented and humble, with a strong work ethic
- Willing to support daily deck operations and help where needed
- Motivated to learn and grow - we will provide helm training and opportunities to assist during mooring operations
- Able to take over responsibilities during the captain's leave or in port
- Looking for a long-term commitment - we are not seeking a seasonal hire
