Deckhand in Singapore

Summary

We are a 55m Motor yacht based in Asia with plans of cruising the Indian and Pacific Ocean. We run with 13 crew and have a good mix of nationalities onboard. The position would be 3:1 fixed rotation. We have a training budget for guys that are interested in progressing. 

We are looking for:

•  Deckhand with Yacht master or deck rating in hand.
• Fishing and spear fishing background a big plus as this is a key part of our program here.
• Sporty fit and healthy would be ideal as we are not a boozy boat and while we enjoy the occasional evening out, we are more focused on fun outdoorsy activities.
• Ideally based in AUS or NZ. Not a deal breaker but from a logistics standpoint this would help.
• Salary DOE

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• MCA Yacht Rating Certificate
• RYA Yachtmaster Offshore
