Summary
We are seeking an experienced and confident Captain to join a prestigious 77m private expedition vessel.
This is a rotational position offering an excellent opportunity for a highly capable professional to lead a well-run yacht with very discerning clients and an exciting global itinerary.
The yacht operates at the highest standards and requires a Captain with proven experience on similar-sized vessels, exceptional leadership skills, and a solid understanding of operations in remote and demanding environments.
A strong background in polar navigation and operations is essential, including a valid Advanced Polar Code Certificate and previous experience in Polar Regions.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- A calm, decisive, and professional demeanor
- Excellent crew management and communication skills
- Full understanding of ISM/ISPS and MLC compliance
- Experience with high-profile or UHNW owners
- A track record of longevity and successful leadership
Minimum requirements:
- Master Unlimited CoC (or equivalent depending on flag)
- Advanced Polar Code Certificate
- Extensive experience in Polar waters
- Valid STCW and ENG1
- Exceptional references
