Summary
We are currently seeking a professional and hands-on Captain to take command of a 26m private motor yacht operating in the Greece and Turkey waters.
This is a full-time position for a well-presented, experienced, and safety-conscious individual who can manage all aspects of the vessel and provide a smooth and enjoyable experience for the owner and guests.
The yacht operates on a strictly private basis, with a relaxed yet professional atmosphere onboard. The cruising program focuses on the summer season in the Eastern Mediterranean, with the possibility of light winter usage.
The ideal candidate will have strong navigation and seamanship skills, excellent knowledge of the local cruising area (Greece/Turkey), and the ability to lead a small team.
You will be responsible for safe vessel operations, crew management, budgeting, maintenance planning, and owner communication.
Requirements:
- Valid Captain’s license (minimum 200 GT or higher depending on flag)
- Experience on yachts in the +25m range
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and guest interaction abilities
- Fluent English; knowledge of local regulations in Greek/Turkish waters a plus
- STCW, ENG1
- EU passport or valid Schengen visa preferred
- wages to be agreed at 2nd stage interview
