We are seeking a male head Sole Chef for a 50m dual-season charter/private motor yacht to join a professional, active crew of 11. This is an exciting and hands-on role for a passionate, experienced chef who thrives in a busy galley and loves to travel, cook from locally sourced produce as well deliver high-end food to expectant clients.
You’ll be provisioning in both remote and well-stocked locations, so forward-planning and flexibility are key.
About the Role:
We’re looking for a creative, confident chef with a strong background in American cuisine and the ability to create flavorful, well-balanced, and beautifully presented dishes for both guests and crew. You’ll be responsible for provisioning, managing budgets, and maintaining a clean and organized galley. Charter experience is a preferred— someone who knows how to stay calm under pressure and deliver top-tier meals for demanding itineraries.
Requirements:
- Previous charter yacht experience as Sole or Head Chef preferred
- Culinary training or proven professional experience
- Strong knowledge of American cuisine, with versatility across global menus
- Comfortable provisioning in remote areas and working solo
- Up-to-date STCW, ENG1, Food & Hygiene Level 2+
- Fluent in English
- Fit, healthy, and active – this is a physically demanding program
