Summary

TEMPORARY CREW CHEF NEEDED – PRIVATE YACHT | INDIAN OCEAN ITINERARY | IMMEDIATE START


We are seeking a Temporary Crew Chef to join a private motor yacht currently cruising the Indian Ocean. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and motivated chef to step onboard immediately, with the potential to transition into a rotational position for the right fit.

???? Experience: Prior yacht experience preferred

???? Requirements: Valid STCW, ENG1, Food Hygiene Level 3 / Culinary Diploma

???? Ships Cook Certificate


You’ll be responsible for preparing healthy, varied, and satisfying meals for the crew (approx. 15–20), while maintaining a clean and organized galley, working independently between guest trips, and alongside experienced Head Chefs for Guest trips.


We're looking for someone who is:


Comfortable cooking in a busy galley environment


Positive, proactive, and adaptable


Able to deliver high-quality meals with a crew-first attitude


Experienced with provisioning in remote or island regions a plus

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)
  • STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
  • ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)
  • Drivers License
Food & Hygiene Qualifications
  • Food Hygiene (HABC Level 3)
  • Ship's Cook Certificate
