Burgess Recruitment is looking for a Rotational Chief Engineer for 45m+ Charter Yacht
Start Date:
31st July / 1st August – with a few days of handover with the current Chief Engineer

Up to €7,000/month
Leave:
2:2 Rotation – flexible and mutually agreed schedule between rotational partners
Qualifications:
Y3 / Chief Engineer <3000kW
Requirements:
- Strong all-round technical knowledge and hands-on engineering skills
- Familiarity with IDEA maintenance system, or the ability to quickly learn it
- Comfortable supporting AV/IT systems (with additional support from Chief Officer)
- Team-oriented attitude – willing to assist with mooring operations, tender arrivals, and deck support as needed
- Committed to following routine maintenance schedules and troubleshooting directly onboard
- Previous charter yacht experience preferred
- Positive, proactive, and adaptable mindset
Other:
You will be joining a professional and active charter program and working closely with the current Chief Engineer to ensure a smooth and thorough handover. Following this, the yacht will be heading to Olbia to begin a three-week charter. Both the Captain and current Chief Engineer are available to provide further information and technical insight about the role and vessel systems.
