Summary
50m+ Private motor yacht seeking a Chief Officer holding a Chief Mate 3000 ticket.
This position is a unique one as you will be required to step into a Port Captain role, when the Captain is on leave.
The Chief Officer needs to be able to run the vessel and crew at the same standard as if the Captain were on board, and be able and willing to step down when the captain returns.
Hands on attitude as the boat upkeep is paramount and you will lead by example on deck as a team member. No room for Chief Officers that wants just to do the admin on the bridge.
The Captain himself is active on deck when required
The program will consider a CM3000 applicant provided they have some drivetime and experience in the relief captain role.
Single season boat, busy from April to September, most of the time just 2 people onboard that will go fishing everyday on their fishing vessel.
Winter time most likely in Barcelona.
Single Cabin, open to male and female candidates
Salary DOE.
12 full time crew, 4 on deck (CO included)
Start ideally in one week time, Boss trip around end of July.
Ideal candidate is happy with an established and relaxed program.
