ROTATIONAL SOUS CHEF 90M
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Sous Chef to join a high-profile charter vessel. This is an unique opportunity for a talented Chef with a strong culinary background and good eye for detail!
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaising with the Head Chef on guest food as well as working alongside the Third Chef to make sure they are running the crew food selection efficiently.
- There is a unique opportunity to build on your management skills from the organisational side as the Sous Chef is responsible for many aspects of the galley admin onboard.
- This is a busy program with high profile charters.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of cooking experience in high-end restaurants/on similar sized yachts.
- It is important that you have worked on 80m+ vessels to understand the dynamic and expectations of a larger yacht.
- Baking and pastry skills are a must. You are not expected to be a pastry chef but should have the basics.
- Great work ethic, passionate about a variety of cuisines, and committed to excellence.
- Must be a team player and flexible in the galley, as you’ll be working in a team of 3. That said, there is a really talented galley onboard who are looking for their final piece of the puzzle!
Package:
- Leave: 2:2 rotation
- Salary: $6,000+
- Start date: Early August onwards
