Burgess recruitment is urgently seeking a Chief Officer for a 50m new build
This is an exciting opportunity to join a great team on board a busy new build with an exciting itinerary. The successful candidate will be between deck and bridge duties.
Requirements & Responsibilities
· Yacht Master essential- with preference to most OOW modules completed
· Proficient in passage planning and conducting navigational watches
· Strong knowledge of ISM, ISPS, navigation and watchkeeping
· Excellent tender driver with chase boats
· Confident in deck maintenance and repairs to assist and oversee the Bosun and Deck Department
· Comfortable with daily, weekly, and monthly checks
· Excellent communication skills, well-organised and motivated and who can manage their time efficiently
· Strong focus on teamwork and mentoring junior crew
· Must be hands-on when required
Start date: ASAP
Location: Greece
Salary: EUR 5800
Leave: 2:2 rotation
