Summary
Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Chief Engineer for a 55m yacht
The successful candidate will work alongside the current Chief Eng without a 2nd Engineer for 4 weeks, then will head into rotation as the vessel enters the shipyard period.

- Proven experience in a similar role on similar sized vessels
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
- Hands on and proactive
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily engine room operations and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting of machinery.
- Handle any technical issues or emergencies as they arise.
- Collaborate with the crew to ensure smooth operation and adherence to protocols
Start date: ASAP
Location: Europe
Salary: TBC
Leave: 2:2 rotation beginning after handover

Vessel Program and itinerary- dual season, private vessel
