Summary
Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Chief Engineer a 77m New Build
The yacht is currently under construction to be delivered some time in August 2025.
Start ASAP
During the build, the position will be full time (non-negotiable). Once the yacht is operational the position will be rotation.
We are looking for a chief engineer who can demonstrate the following key attributes:
- New Build experience is a must
- Great team management skill
- Solid safety management experience
- Strong accounts skills and knowledge and experience of using different of softwares (Sage will most likely be the accounts software)
- Perfectionist/an eye for detail and high standards
- Must have solid work experience, and longevity is important.
- Must be in good health, hold a valid Y1 or RIII/2 Ch Eng unlimited (all valid underpinning qualifications), and valid seafarer medical.
- Excellent references, which will be verified verbally.
- Happy to be guest facing
Start date: ASAP
Leave: Rotational once operational- required to stay onboard 2 months
Salary: TBC during interview process
