Seeking a skilled, energetic Mate/Engineer for a couple’s job on a 30m+ sailing yacht.

Mate/Engineer Position

30m+ private sailing yacht

This is a couples position with the Deck/Stew

Both roles are permanent

Mate/Engineer immediate start date in Mallorca

Deck/Stewardess to start in September (possibly earlier)

Both roles require previous sailing experience

Must be very hands-on with shipyard work as the yacht is on the hard

Extensive refit until September then racing Med and Caribbean season

Mate/Engineer salary 5500EUR / Deck/Stewardess salary 4000EUR

Contract: Permanent

Salary: 5500EUR

Qualifications: PBL2, AEC1, AEC2 (Ideally), Yachtmaster Offshore (Sail)

Itinerary: Med, Caribbean

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RYA Yachtmaster Offshore

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• MCA Approved Engine Course (AEC 1 & 2) Certificate
