Summary
• 100m+ Prestigious New Build motor yacht are looking for rockstar 2nd Officer to join them in the next 4-6 weeks
• This is an amazing opportunity to join an exciting New build project due for Launch late Summer 2025 with an interesting Worldwide cruising itinerary upon launch
• They are looking for a diligent, organised officer with a good ability to problem solve along with a good character and strong work ethic. The role is heavily guest facing so character is very important! Experience with writing SMS/SOPS and a strong knowledge of ISM will be required. The role is predominantly bridge based so top notch navigational and admin skills are essential!
• We are looking for an experienced officer with 1-2+ years’ experience as 2nd officer onboard yachts, happy to consider someone with a blend of yachting and commercial experience but unfortunately commercial candidates transferring into yachting will not be considered – solid references will be required and extensive background checks completed
• The project is currently being overseen by a longstanding build team, and you will be working closely alongside fantastic Chief Officers onboard whilst the project ramps up over the next few months. Quay Crew are working with this client exclusively and we have already placed multiple deck crew members onboard who are all extremely happy!
• CM 3000 or higher required as minimum currently
• This position is open to Male candidates only due to cabin arrangements
• Package to be discussed during initial call but the salary range is extremely generous will depend on experience. Time for time contract operating on 8 weeks on 8 weeks off – full package TBD during initial calls
• There is a potential that final stage candidates will be required to visit the yacht for a face-to-face interview, but this isn't essential for candidates currently employed or unable to visit the yard
