HANDS-ON DOMESTIC MANAGEMENT COUPLE REQUIRED FOR HNW HOME IN LONDON

We are looking for an experienced and hardworking Domestic Couple to support a lovely high-profile family of four at their beautiful London residence. Working as an existing couple, you will work collaboratively alongside a full-time housekeeper to maintain the upkeep of this extensive home to the highest standard. The house is occupied by a busy family, as well as various pets, so the Couple must be child-friendly and pet friendly, though no childcare will be required (the family employ a Nanny).
The property is finished to a very high specification and has a gym, swimming pool, cinema, bar, and various entertainment areas. The Couple will be responsible for the cleanliness of the home, managing the laundry, ironing and care of fine fabrics, antiques, marbles, and precious woods, so it is essential that they have excellent knowledge and experience of how to care for luxury furnishings and the use of appropriate cleaning products. Additionally, the Couple will also liaise with contractors, suppliers and tradesmen, ensuring that all maintenance aspects of the home are taken care of, and that the cleaning supplies and groceries are topped up.
Preparing and cooking simple, healthy meals for the family on a daily basis will also form part of the job description, so at least one of the candidates must be a confident cook and happy to undertake cooking duties. The Houseman/Driver must be a confident driver, able to undertake driving duties as and when required, taking the family to appointments, and running errands. Further duties will include the upkeep and maintenance of the swimming pool, exterior patios, and walkways
Usual working hours will be Monday to Friday from 8am-6pm with an hour lunch break. Accommodation is provided on-site in a lovely 1-bedroom apartment with separate, private entrance, kitchen, living room and bathroom. All utilities and bills are included in the package (apart from food).
DUTIES TO INCLUDE:
• Management of all household laundry and ironing, including clothing, linens etc.
• Daily cleaning of the property including making beds, hoovering, dusting, mopping, cleaning bathrooms etc.
• Polishing antiques, marble, and silverware
• Preparing and cooking healthy, simple meals for the family
• Loading the dishwasher/doing the dishes
• The upkeep and maintenance of the swimming pool, exterior patios, and walkways
• Driving the principals and running errands, maintaining, and cleaning the cars
• Security of the property
• Managing external contractors, resolving any maintenance issues
• Dealing quickly and responsibly with any issues that arise
• Pet care – feeding and washing the dogs, ensuring their areas are well-maintained and clean
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
• Previous experience in a Couples role supporting a family in a private household
• Very high attention to detail
• Team players with positive, can-do attitudes
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with suppliers and tradesmen
• Good standard of written and spoken English
• Trustworthy and ability to handle confidential information appropriately
• Discreet, polite, and well-presented
• Longevity as demonstrated by previous employment
• Able to prioritise and multitask effectively
• Pet friendly and child friendly
• Full, clean UK driving license
• Right to work within the UK
• Excellent checkable references
