Summary

Looking for an Executive Head Chef: 70m+ Yacht

Start date: ASAP

We are searching for a dynamic and experienced Executive Head Chef to join our team on a 70m+ yacht. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated chef who is passionate about international cuisine and enjoys working in a multicultural environment.

Position: Executive Head Chef

Location: 70m+ Private/Charter Yacht

Start: As soon as possible

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all galley operations and menu planning
  • Prepare high-quality international cuisine for guests and crew
  • Manage provisioning and maintain galley hygiene standards
  • Lead and mentor a small team in the galley
  • Cater to a multinational crew and adapt to dietary preferences

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of yachting experience
  • At least 2 years in a similar Head Chef role
  • Fluent in English
  • B1/B2 visa on hand
  • Experience cooking for multinational crew
  • Male candidates only (due to cabin arrangements)
  • Preferably EU passport
  • Up-to-date certificates and excellent references required

Benefits:

  • Salary: 10,000 USD per month

  • Professional Culinary Diploma (6 mths - 2 years+)
  • Professional Culinary Degree/ Master's (1 - 2 years+)
  • Apprenticeship/ Culinary School (2 - 5+ years)
Worldchefs/ PYA Culinary Qualifications
  • WorldChefs/ PYA Certified Professional Chef / Chef de Partie (Yacht Chef Award Level 1)
  • Worldchefs/ PYA Certified Sous Chef (Yacht Chef Award Level 2)
  • Worldchefs/ PYA Certified Chef de Cuisine (Yacht Chef Award Level 3)
Food & Hygiene Qualifications
  • Award Food Safety In Catering
  • Award Supervising Food Safety in Catering
  • Managing Food Safety in Catering
  • Ship's Cook Certificate
  • Food Hygiene (HABC Level 3)
