Sous Chef – 80m Private Yacht (Multi-Owner Vessel)

Leave Package: 5:1 rotation, increasing to 90 days annually after 1 year of employment

An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Sous Chef on board a busy, 80-meter private yacht with multiple owners. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, motivated, and eager to be part of a fun-loving and close-knit crew. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced galley and enjoys guest and crew interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare high-quality, nutritious meals for the crew
- Assist the Head Chef during guest trips, delivering top-level cuisine
- Cater to a wide range of dietary needs (e.g., gluten-free, vegetarian, allergies)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient galley
- Participate in crew activities such as quizzes, excursions, and team-building events
Ideal Candidate:
- Formal culinary training is essential
- Holds Food Hygiene Level 3 or Ship’s Cook Certificate
- Has prior chef experience either onboard or ashore
- Works well under pressure and takes initiative in a dynamic environment
- Sociable and enjoys being part of a positive, team-oriented culture
- Able to work long hours during guest trips while maintaining high standards
