Summary
POSITION: Rotational 2nd Officer
Vessel: Newly launched Dutch 60+m Private Motor Yacht
Location: Currently in France and will spend teh winter in La Ciotat
Start Date: 15th January
The yacht will be doing mainationce work for the winter before starting a Med season in May. There are plans for a Caribean season in late 2026.
This is an ideal role for someone who wants to be actively involved on the bridge while also leading and managing the deck team. Ideal candidates will have previous experience in the same role on similar-sized yachts, a strong understanding of bridge procedures, and good communication skills.
Requirements:
- OOW 3000 minimum
- Strong tender driving skills
- Experience holding a navigational watch
- Strong ISM knowledge to assist with drills and paperwork
- Ability to manage and lead a team of 3 deck crew
- Good experience with watersports and inflatable set ups
- Solid knowledge of deck products and maintenance
- Good painting skills to teach crew
- Maintain inventory and ensure all equipment is in optimal condition.
Package:
- Salary: 5,000 Euro / month
