Burgess recruitment URGENTLY seeking a Mate for a 40m+ M/Y
This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified OOW 3000 looking to step up or a Mate from a 35m yacht . Also open to considering a strong Bosun with solid bridge experience who is ready to take the next step in their career.
Requirements & Responsibilities
- Minimum Yacht Master 200gt + 2 years’ experience as Mate on 40m MY/ OOW 3000 preferred
- Charter experience essential.
- Strong knowledge of ISM, ISPS, navigation and watchkeeping.
- Excellent communication skills, well-organised and motivated and who can manage their time efficiently.
- Must be hands-on when required.
- Strong focus on teamwork and mentoring junior crew.
- Comfortable with daily, weekly, and monthly checks.
- Some OOW modules beneficial.
- Mostly on deck- not an office like role.

Salary: EUR 5300
Leave: 60 days
