A fantastic temporary opportunity has arisen for a skilled and health-conscious Weekend Cook/Housekeeper to support a prestigious household in Central London throughout the summer. This hands-on role is available from the beginning of July until the end of August 2025 and will involve working on a selection of key weekends to ensure the smooth running of the home and the delivery of high-quality, nutritious meals. The working dates include July 5th, 6th, 12th and 13th, and August 3rd, 9th, 10th, 24th and 25th.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in private households, luxury hospitality, or yachting, and will have a genuine passion for nutrition and wellness. A culinary qualification or cookery certificate would be advantageous. The role requires discretion, professionalism, and a polished presentation, along with fluency in English and confidence using household technology and relevant apps.
Core responsibilities will include preparing healthy and flavourful meals in line with structured meal plans developed by a nutritionist, managing grocery shopping and food deliveries, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen, and providing table service and beverages. In addition to cooking, the candidate will support with light housekeeping duties such as turn-down service, tidying, and resetting rooms, ensuring the home maintains its welcoming atmosphere. Liaison with weekday staff will be important to ensure continuity and consistency across the household.
This is a part-time, live-out position, working from 11 am to 7 pm on the dates specified. It would suit a professional who takes pride in high-quality cooking and meticulous housekeeping. Applicants must have impeccable references, a clean enhanced DBS check or be willing to obtain one, and the legal right to work in the UK. A driver’s licence and access to a vehicle is preferred.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Prior experience in private households, luxury hospitality or onboard superyachts
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written
- Strong cooking skills with a focus on health and wellness
- Understanding of structured meal planning
- Culinary qualification or cookery course certificate (preferred but not essential)
- High standard of housekeeping and attention to detail
- Flexibility with hours and duties
- Discreet, professional and presentable with strong communication skills
- Valid passport with the right to live and work in the UK
- Clean enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Driving license and own car (preferred by not essential)
