Reardon Yacht Consulting is seeking an experienced Yacht Manager to join our expanding management team in Fort Lauderdale.
Job description:
The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations and client relationships of a select fleet of yachts. Acting as the main point of contact for Owners and Captains, they will ensure seamless technical, administrative, and compliance support to deliver exceptional service and peace of mind.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the yachting industry, including advanced technical skills and expertise, sea time on a commercial vessel or yacht, and at least 2 years in a shore-based management role or a related industry. They should be self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of managing complex responsibilities independently and as part of a close-knit team. Strong interpersonal skills, diplomacy, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset are essential.
They must be fluent in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus. The role involves travel for onboard meetings, audits, and surveys.
Operational knowledge of the following is helpful/preferred: IMO, MLC, Class rules, Flag rules, ISM, ISPS, PYC, SOLAS, maritime law, and maritime insurance.
Salary:
Commensurate with experience.
