Company/Project Overview
Our client is converting 3 top-spec coaches into luxury rolling palaces for world-famous touring artists, with another 10–12 high-end vans in the pipeline. Finished to a super yacht / private jet standard.
The company already has a yacht interior designer already on board, you’ll be working to the level of detail and precision you’re used to – but with a steady schedule and a great team, and no Atlantic crossings.
You’ll join a growing, passionate team (currently 6 in conversions, 2 in fit-out), helping us bring the yacht-level luxury of fine joinery, integrated systems, and custom builds into every vehicle. You’ll play a key role in building cabinetry, interiors, utilities, and integrated tech with an obsessive attention to detail.
Required Attributes
- We are looking to recruit two people to join our luxury vehicle conversion team of which could offer differing levels of experience.
- Former or current yacht engineers, deck engineers, or carpenters with superyacht fit-out experience.
- Mastery in cabinet making, fine joinery, metalwork, or composite installation.
- Bonus if you’ve worked with 12v/24v/240v systems, air con, heating, or plumbing on board.
- Problem-solvers, finish-obsessives, and team players who can transition their skills to land-based builds.
- Based in the UK already or planning a return to shore life in the UK soon, ideally down South.

- Coachbuilding or vehicle conversions at a high standard
Further examples of ideal Skills and Experience
· High-end cabinet making, fine joinery, and custom furniture installation (beds, kitchens, bathrooms, etc.)
· Advanced use of wood, metal, Corian, and composite materials – including cutting, bending, scribing, edge banding, and templating
· Worktop installation (resin, quartz, Corian, laminate, hardwood) and precision tiling & flooring (Karndean, Amtico)
· Upholstery, vinyl work, and trim finishing to a high standard
· AC/DC systems (12v, 24v, 240v), battery management, solar systems, and AV equipment installation
· Heating, cooling, water, and diesel systems – including air con, plumbing, and appliances
· Structural work: MIG welding, metal fabrication, bonded windows, slide-out sections, doors, locks
· Chassis modification, LED conversions, CanBus systems, and fibreglass repairs
· Interior finishing with specialist coverings: rubber, EVA, PVC, carpet, vinyl
