Summary
Position: Head Chef for 50-Meter Dual Season Private Motor Yacht
We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Head Chef for a 50-meter private motor yacht operating on a dual season schedule. The salary is negotiable based on experience, and we are prepared to offer above industry standards for the right candidate. The position includes 60 days of annual leave.
There will be a 1–2 day trial period at the owner’s residence. If successful, the chef will begin working at the villa and later transition to the yacht. This is a full-year contract covering both the Mediterranean and Caribbean seasons.
The yacht operates with a Crew Chef, and is a heavily used private vessel. The Head Chef must be creative, capable of quickly adapting to special dietary requirements and non-standard culinary styles preferred by the guests. The Crew Chef will work under the supervision and direction of the Head Chef. If needed, the crew menu will be defined by the Head Chef, who will also coordinate provisioning with the Captain’s knowledge and approval.
We are looking for someone who has the potential to become the owner’s personal chef, who can work flexibly, maintain a calm and composed demeanor, and integrate smoothly with the interior team and the rest of the crew.
The ability to prepare homemade bread and ice cream is a significant advantage.
