The successful couple will be sharing a cabin

Qualifications min. Yacht master offshore working towards OOW, ENG1, STCW95

Job Description:

We are looking for a Chief Officer / Mate for a 42m Charter/Private vessel with mixed owner and charter use, The Vessel already has confirmed charters for the 2025 Med Season.

The vessel is single-season.

The Ideal candidate will be available by 20th June, have all documents up to date, and have previous experience in an Officer / Mate role onboard a similar-sized vessel, ideally with charter experience.

Skills and Attributes Required:

Previous experience as Mate / Officer on a similar-sized motor yacht

Excellent communication skills

Good knowledge of deck maintenance and ability to mentor the bosun and deckhand

Good management skills

Knowledge of ISM

Driving Licence

Package: Permanent contract, 6,000/6500 USD, MLC Standard Leave allowance  

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)
• Drivers License

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RYA Yachtmaster Offshore
