The Candidate Specification
We are looking for an experienced and confident Lead Service Stewardess to join a busy 100M+ private yacht. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is service-driven, organised, and values a positive, supportive crew culture.
As Lead Service Stewardess, you’ll oversee three interior team members, delivering exceptional guest service and maintaining meticulous standards throughout. You will report directly to the Chief Stewardess and will be responsible for managing daily operations, training, and ensuring service excellence across the board.
You must have a strong background in high-end service, including silver and synchronised service, wine knowledge, and cocktail preparation. Excellent administrative and inventory management skills are essential, as you’ll handle stock control, ordering, and guest provisioning independently. You’ll also take the lead in creating service SOPs and ensuring consistency across the team.
You’ll be stepping into a calm and drama-free interior environment, with a lovely team who enjoy fitness, wellness, and low-key socials. The right candidate will be confident and knowledgeable, but also humble, kind, and a natural team leader, someone who takes joy in nurturing others and helping the team grow.
- Required experience: 3–4 years’ yachting experience, Minimum one year in a Lead Service role on vessels 80M+, Strong longevity (1+ year on at least two yachts)
