Summary
We are currently seeking an experienced temp Bosun (4months ) to join a 70m private motor yacht, located in Turkey.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, excellent technical knowledge and a proactive safety-first mindset. You will be responsible for leading a team of four deckhands and will report directly to the Chief Officer and Second Officer.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee and execute all deck operations with precision and professionalism
- Lead by example to foster a positive and collaborative team environment
- Mentor and develop junior deck crew, passing on operational knowledge and skills
- Operate tenders with confidence
- Manage crane operations safely and efficiently
- Ensure all tasks are carried out with adherence to safety protocols
Essential skills and experience:
- Minimum of 1 years 'experience in a Bosun or senior deckhand role aboard motor yachts of similar size
- Proven competency in tender driving and crane operation
- Strong knowledge of yacht deck products and maintenance procedures
Required Qualifications: Yachtmaster Offshore or equivalent tender driving qualification (minimum 15m+)
Start date: asap, latest 26th of June 2025
The position is currently temporary (4months) but might lead into something permanent.
Monthly salary of 3800EUR, leave accrued and will be paid out at the end of the contract.
