Summary
We are looking for an experienced Sole Chef with at least 3 years + in a similar role, to join this well-established Private 45m+ MY. This yacht has an amazing itinerary planned, going to some off the beaten track destinations, so this role would best suit a skilled and passionate chef, looking to combine their culinary career with the adventure of working on a yacht that travels.
Our ideal candidate is culinary trained with min 3 years of yachting experience. He/she will be responsible for the overall management of the galley department, menu planning, provisioning, and cooking for 10 crew and 10 guests. Crew and guests are great, no dietary requirements. Meals are healthy, simple, presentation is important.
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient candidate with strong multitasking abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Our ideal candidate is adaptable and skilled in a variety of cuisines, capable of creating exciting, fresh menus for both guests and crew. Confidence in sourcing local ingredients in remote locations is essential, along with resourcefulness and the ability to efficiently plan for extended periods between provisioning.
