We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Temporary Chief Engineer to join a well-established 80m+ Private/Light Charter MY.
Our ideal candidate is qualified, knowledgeable, organized and efficient, good with juggling a lot if things at the same time, a great communicator, detail oriented, hands-on, driven and with a positive attitude. A down to earth, level-headed candidate that is proactive and with a great sense of common sense.
The candidate is to be level-headed, no drama and a self-starter, someone who takes safety very seriously.

About the program: MED
Required Documents/Certificates: Y1/Unlimited license, STCW, ENG1, PDSD
Qualification Requirements:
· Minimum Qualification: Y1 License
· Proven experience in marine engineering and maintenance
· Strong technical knowledge of onboard systems
· Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
· Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
· A commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards
· Hands-on approach
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Fluent in English both verbal and written
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee and maintain all engineering systems onboard
· Perform regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs of machinery and equipment
· Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
· Manage the engineering department and delegate tasks effectively
· Keep accurate records of maintenance and operations
· Collaborate with other crew members to ensure a seamless yachting experience for those onboard
