Summary
A 40M New Build Yacht is currently looking for a strong bosun to start around 1st July before being launched. We are looking for a driven, enthusiastic and strong bosun or lead deckhand looking to step up who would like to be apart of a new build and its final stages of being set up. You will be working underneath a strong captain and chief officer, alongside a deckhand and deck engineer. Our mission is to create a super dynamic team and a seamless operation onboard for future owner and charter guest experiences. Crew are driven, fun, into their health and fitness and are passionate about developing themselves in every aspect. We are looking for someone to fit this dynamic, who shares the same passion of life and would be able to add their strengths to the team onboard.
Aussies, Kiwi's and Saffas are preferred for this role.
This will be a Med/Carribean based dual season program. The yacht will be available for charter once in Carribean.
The personality we are looking for: Strong minded, driven, easy going, well mannered and open minded, fun with no egos, into their health and fitness and ideally passionate about their hobbies as well. Chief Officer loves to DJ and is super into his fitness. We will be running a strong learning and positive environment onboard, of which you will learn a lot in due time, we are looking to build a brotherhood amongst the deck crew, all sharing similar interests and want to create an amazing environment onboard.
Requirements:
YM 200T Offshore (minimum)
Some OOW Modules preferred.
B1/B2 Visa
Schengen Visa
Must be able to handle a tender in all weathers. Need to be strong with deck work list creation or have the attitude in wanting to create them at least. Willing to train up the right candidate with the right attitude.
Salary: DOE & Additional Skill Sets
Leave: 60 days per year.
