Summary
We are currently seeking a Seasonal Captain to join a 30m+ Private Charter Motor Yacht, with the possibility to be a permanent position for the right candidate
This exciting role will require the candidate to oversee a lot of works currently going on and be able to problem solve. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of guests and crew while maintaining the yacht to the highest standards. You will lead a dedicated team, coordinate navigation, oversee maintenance, and ensure compliance with maritime regulations. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and deliver exceptional experiences in beautiful European waters. The vessel is a Private Charter boat. The Vessel runs with 5 Crew including the Captain and requires a hands on Captain that is able to assist on deck from time to time.
Candidate requirements:
- Proven experience as a Captain on motor yachts, specifically in the 36m - 40m range.
- Valid STCW and ENG1.
- Master 500GT or Higher.
- Strong knowledge of maritime regulations and safety protocols.
- Great understanding of Compliance
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a diverse crew and work collaboratively.
- Experience in guest services and hospitality on high-end vessels.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
Package:
- Salary: €8,000 - €9,000 pcm
- Leave: 38 days per annum
- Itinerary: Mediterranean
