We are seeking a Second Sous-Chef for a prestigious 48-meter private/charter yacht operating in Croatia for the summer season. This is a unique opportunity to join a high-performing galley team focused on delivering exceptional culinary experiences for discerning guests.
Position: Second Sous-Chef
Location: Croatia (Adriatic cruising itinerary)
Contract: Seasonal (with potential for extension)
Start Date: Immediate
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Head Chef and Sous-Chef in daily meal preparation for guests and crew
- Execute mise en place, plating, and service with precision and care
- Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and galley organization (HACCP compliance)
- Be flexible and responsive to changing guest preferences and dietary needs
- Assist in provisioning and stock rotation
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 1-2 seasons of experience on a similar-sized yacht or high-end hospitality background
- Strong foundation in Mediterranean and international cuisine
- Team player with a proactive, solution-driven mindset
- EU passport or valid Schengen visa preferred
- STCW, Food & Hygiene Level 2 (or higher) mandatory
