Deckhand – Private 30m S/Y
We are looking for a seasonal Deckhand to join a 30m private sailing yacht operating in the Mediterranean. This is a hands-on role for someone passionate about sailing, currently based in Europe, and ready to join a tight-knit team. You will work under the direction of a professional Captain and a supportive manager, gaining excellent experience in a dynamic environment.
Start date: ASAP until 30th September
Itinerary: Mediterranean
Package: Salary paid in Euros, 38 days’ pay leave
Experience/Skills required:
• Minimum 1 season’s experience on a sailing yacht
• Confident deckhand with strong sailing and line-handling skills
• Comfortable working under instruction and within a small team
• Proactive, tidy, and safety-conscious
• Good knowledge of Mediterranean waters is a plus
Qualifications required:
• STCW (fully updated)
• Seafarer's Medical Certificate
• Seaman’s Discharge Book (preferred)
• Non-smoker, no visible tattoos
