2nd Engineer in United States

Summary

HMG is seeking an experienced Rotational 2^nd Engineer for a private 65M+ Motor Yacht.

Joining in NE USA, the ideal candidate should have the following:

·        EOOW (III/1) or higher

·        B1B2 Visa, Schengen Visa

·        Very good longevity in previous roles (1year plus on previous vessels)

·        At least 5 years’ experience in the Yachting industry

·        Very good experience in shipyards/refits

·        Hands-on, Positive and proactive approach to work

·        Calm and pleasant demeanour

·        Commitment to safe and proper work practices

Joining in NE USA, the yacht will complete its planned trips there before heading to Europe.

Shared cabin, 10 weeks on/off, Salary at $9,000USD per month, all flights and medical included.

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• 2nd Engineer III/2 (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
• RIII/1 Engineer Officer of the Watch (Unlimited)
