The Candidate Specification
We are seeking an experienced Captain and Stewardess couple for a temporary position aboard a beautifully refitted 22M private yacht, running from 20th June through September.
The Role (Captain):
The Captain must hold a valid Yachtmaster certificate and have experience operating yachts of similar size. A confident and professional approach is essential, especially as the owner may wish to take the helm on occasion. You’ll be responsible for overall yacht operations and ensuring smooth and safe cruising throughout the Mediterranean.
The Role (Stewardess):
The Stewardess will be responsible for interior upkeep, service, and drinks. Attention to detail and high standards are crucial, as the yacht will be frequently used by the family for both leisure and occasional business meetings. You’ll be expected to maintain a tidy, welcoming environment and provide seamless service.
This is a family-run yacht with a genuinely kind owner. The vessel has recently undergone a full refit and is maintained to a very high standard.
- Accommodation Note: On occasions, you would be expected to stay on board in the crew cabin, but most of the time you will be returning home to your own apartment, that’s why we need someone local.
- Required Location: Candidates must be based within commuting distance of the marina in Golfe-Juan, due to the yacht’s operations and logistics.
