Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chief Stewardess to join a well-maintained, busy 50m private/charter sailing yacht operating in the Mediterranean for the summer season. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in rank on similar-sized vessels and a genuine love for sailing.
Seasonal contract: June–October
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all interior operations, ensuring high standards across service, housekeeping, and laundry
- Lead and manage the interior team, providing training and support as needed
- Coordinate with the Captain and Chef to deliver a seamless guest experience
- Maintain inventories, provisioning, and interior budgets
- Ensure the yacht is guest-ready at all times and uphold safety procedures, especially while sailing
Requirements:
- Minimum 1–2 seasons as Chief Stew on similar-sized sailing yachts (45m+)
- Charter experience
- Proven leadership and organisational skills
- Passion for sailing and comfort working on a sailing yacht under way
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Schengen visa if applicable
