Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Chef to join a 58m private motor yacht based in the United States, with a cruising itinerary that includes the U.S. East Coast and the Caribbean Sea. This is a full-time, permanent position for an experienced solo Chef who can deliver refined, diverse, and health-conscious cuisine at the highest standard.
As Chef, you will be solely responsible for the culinary program onboard, catering to a high-profile owner and guests with a range of tastes and dietary preferences. You will oversee all aspects of the galley — from menu planning, provisioning, and budget management to preparing beautifully presented meals for both guests and crew. The ability to work independently, stay highly organized, and consistently deliver under pressure is essential.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute creative, fresh, and healthy menus tailored to guest preferences
- Prepare all guest and crew meals (approx. 12 crew), maintaining variety and nutritional balance
- Handle provisioning, inventory, and galley budgeting with a focus on quality and efficiency
- Maintain strict cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in the galley
- Communicate closely with the Captain and interior team to ensure seamless meal service
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as Head or Sole Chef on similar-sized yachts
- STCW, ENG1, Ship's Cook Certificate, Food Safety & Hygiene Level 2 (or higher)
- Confident in provisioning in both the U.S. and Caribbean regions
- Strong organizational skills, time management, and a calm, professional demeanor
- Must have legal authorization to work in the United States (US B1/B2 Visa or Green Card required)
