Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Junior Housekeeper to join a friendly private household in the beautiful Devon countryside. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 1 to 2 years of experience working in private households who is looking to continue developing their skills in a supportive and professional environment.
The role involves helping to keep the home clean, tidy, and well-maintained. Day-to-day duties include general cleaning, laundry, ironing, and assisting in preparing the house for family visits and guests. You will also help with cooking and food preparation, restocking household supplies, and running occasional errands. A key part of the role includes caring for two friendly dogs, so a love of animals is essential.
We are seeking someone who is proactive, trustworthy, and takes pride in delivering high standards. You should be confident working independently, with a good understanding of the expectations within a private home, and happy to be part of a small, close-knit team.
You may also assist with household organisation tasks such as managing inventories and updating household calendars. The role offers the chance to support more senior staff and grow into increased responsibility over time.
This is a 45-hour work week, with the schedule running from Thursday to Monday and Tuesday and Wednesday as designated days off. A comfortable two-bedroom cottage is provided opposite the estate for live-in staff.
