A 45m Private Motor Yacht is looking for a permanent Engineer.
Position: Engineer
Location: Caribbean
Start Date: June 1st 2025
Qualifications: Y3 or equivalent, STCW, Seafarers Medical
Visas: B1/B2 preference
Itinerary: Caribbean until mid-September, Ft Lauderdale yard period from October, followed by Panama & Costa Rica in 2026
Salary: $10,000USD p/m Salary Guide - DOE
Contract: Full-time/ Live aboard, 90 Days leave per year (including weekends)
Extra Skills: The Owner likes marlin fishing (lots of fishing!), diving and watersports - any extra skills are highly advantageous.
Requirements:
- Practical and hands-on knowledge of all yacht systems
- Experience with MTU Engines & Northern Lights Generators
- Troubleshooting and preventative maintenance required - remote cruising & a lot of travelling
