Summary

Position: Rotational Sole Engineer- permanent   US FLAG must hold US passport or green card.

Equal rotation 21/21 days - paid biweekly.

The engineer must stay onboard at all times when onboard. This is not a live off position when on the rotation.

Itinerary: US East Coast.  TBC 

License: AEC 1 and 2 are fine or USCG engineering license

 

Requirements:

AEC1 and 2

US passport or Green card 

STCW + Refresher as needed

medical fit for duty/ ENG 1 (min. 6 months validity)

Either 2nd from larger vessels looking to move into a sole engineer role and/or someone strong in mechanical engineering  

Good references 

Candidates local to WPB area.

LOOKING FOR 1 YEAR COMMITMENT.  

Job specifics: They need to be competent in the ER. Looking for someone that keeps the systems well maintained. Good with keeping records and notes. Candidate should be well qualified with experience in Dutch boats a plus. Experience with European Power/Electric systems a must. Mature, self-starter.

Salary range: Within yachting salary guidelines depending on experience. Biweekly payroll.
