Job Title: Mate/Engineer for Private

Location: South Florida

Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mate Engineer to join our foreign-flagged 110-foot motor yacht based in South Florida. Itinerary: US East Coast/ Bahamas.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Captain in navigation and vessel operations

• Maintain and operate all mechanical systems on board

• Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with maritime regulations

• Manage engine room maintenance and repairs

• Assist with guest services and safety drills as needed

Assist deckhand with upkeep of the exterior

Qualifications:

• Minimum 100ton USCG or Yachtmaster

• AEC 1 & 2

• Previous experience as a Mate Engineer on a similar-sized yacht

• Strong knowledge of marine engineering systems and equipment

• Proficiency in navigation, vessel operations and large tender driving

• Excellent problem-solving skills
