TYS Recruitment is looking for a 1st Officer for a busy 45m private/ charter dual-season vessel.

• Start Date: 7 - 9 May

• Joining Location: Italy

• Salary: DOE

• Leave: Minimum 38 days, subject to negotiation (DOE)

• Certification: OOW 3000 & AEC (MCA Chief Officer 3000 preferable)

• Visas: B1B2 & Schengen

We are looking for someone who is actively pursuing their Master’s license and possesses extensive knowledge of passage planning, ISM, ISPS, and cruising within the Med/ Caribbean waters. The ideal candidate is someone who is organized with charter experience, has great leadership and communication skills, and has a positive and honest mindset. Proficiency in tender driving and watersports is a must, with additional skills such as jetski or kiteboarding instructor, fishing experience and painting experience desirable.

The vessel has just finished a Caribbean charter season and is crossing back to the Mediterranean. They will undergo a short yard period followed by a busy charter season, with a cruising itinerary of Greece, Croatia, Montenegro, Italy, and France.

You will be joining a lovely, tight-knit and multinational crew with a low turnover, who have great longevity. The crew enjoys a fit and active lifestyle, spending time together when time allows and helping each other in all departments.
