The candidate specification
We\\'re looking for a skilled Deckhand to join a 100M+ large private yacht with rare charters. As a Deckhand, you\\'ll play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the yacht\\'s deck. This includes maintaining cleanliness and orderliness while providing exceptional service to guests. While the main focus is on deckhand duties, it\\'s important to note that this position occasionally involves assisting with watersports activities and understanding how the watersports toys are used.
We\\'re seeking someone who has experience in watersports and is willing to occasionally engage in these activities. The ideal candidate should be energetic, fun-loving, and have a positive attitude. In addition to deckhand responsibilities, you\\'ll have the opportunity to contribute to the enjoyment of our guests through watersports activities.
Responsibilities:
Assist with yacht operations, including mooring, anchoring, and navigation, under the guidance of the Captain and other senior crew members.
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of the yacht\\'s exterior, including cleaning, painting, varnishing, and general upkeep.
Assist with the operation and maintenance of water sports equipment, tenders, and other deck-related machinery.
Provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring their safety and comfort during their time on board.
Participate in safety drills and adhere to all safety regulations and procedures on board.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Deckhand on a yacht or similar vessel.
Knowledge of yacht operations, safety regulations, and deck maintenance.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
Tender driving experience
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Valid STCW certification and other relevant certifications.
