Privately owned and operated 62m Feadship is looking for a Lead Deckhand

An exciting opportunity has opened on this prestigious, well maintained and professionally operated yacht.

The vessel is currently in Spain and looking to hire additional crew by the middle of May. Once crewed up, the vessel will go into drydock for a brief period before rolling straight into a busy summer season in the Mediterranean. The plans are to cross the Atlantic at the end of October and be based around Florida with trips to the Bahamas and potentially some time spent around the Leeward Islands of the Caribbean.

This position offers a great opportunity to develop essential skills as a deckhand. Considering the vessel’s plans this position will certainly aid someone with their career development. There has been great longevity in the deck department over the last few years and due to some potential departures after the summer there is definitely an opportunity for progression.

We are looking for somebody mature, levelheaded and career oriented that is ready to put some time in and build longevity on this vessel. We are towing a large tender so there is an opportunity to get drive time on a 42ft Chase boat once fully familiarized. A considerable amount of training goes into bringing on crew so in return the vessel is expecting to get at the very least a minimum of 1 year commitment.

This position can be coupled with a 2nd Stewardess or a Stew/Hairstylist.
