Summary

Burgess recruitment is currently seeking an AVIT/3rd Eng for a 60m+ yacht

Start date: Early May

Leave: 60 days 

Salary: €6000 

Flights: 2 x return flights in economy class per year

Contract type: Permanent

Dual Season-private/Charter vessel

The role is AVIT during guest seasons (dual season), this entails the operation and maintenance of all internet, networking, all IT, the Lutron lighting system, setting up of guest meetings and calls, drone operation and photography, production of short guest movies and if required, any further electrical experience that maybe required around the yacht.

Out of season - the role is more engine room based and will give the candidate opportunity to learn all yacht based systems and work in a team environment. Emphasis during these periods would be towards the electrical side of the department.

Previous experience is required, and experience helping guests is a prerequisite. This is a guest facing role and the candidate must be happy to engage, in a quiet and calm manner at all times.

·IDEA planned maintenance

·Video editing

Qualifications and Experience:

·Ideally hold a Certificate and have experience in Audio Visual.

·Ideally hold a Certificate and have experience in IT training and networks.

·Have knowledge and experience of marine electrical systems, automation, and navigation systems.

·Have basic Engineering knowledge and experience.
