Summary

Commercially operated yacht (ISPS and ISM compliant) that has recently undergone an extensive refit is currently looking to recruit a temporary Second Officer.

Must hold OOW 3000 and ECDIS Generic Qualification at a minimum, have experience and be comfortable holding navigational watches. There is potential for the first 3 days of the job to be in transit from current location to the yard.

Applicants must be able to carry out weekly/months safety checks and have previous experience running the day to day of the deck department. For vessel safety we will not consider any candidates looking to step up from Bosun to Officer.

The boat will be entering a short yard period before a starting the season. We are looking for someone with strong product knowledge and previous yard experience in a leadership role. The role will involve assisting with preparation for flag and class audits.

Must have all certificates in hand, valid ENG1 medical and ready to fly at short notice, preferably candidates currently in Europe (for ease of travel).

Start date is the 26th April in Spain.
