Our client a leading designer, manufacturer, and maintainer of high-speed workboats for global defense and security markets, is on the lookout for a dynamic individual to fill the role of Business Development Manager at their cutting-edge shipyard.
About the Company: Our client is prominent in the maritime industry, operating from two advanced sites in the Northwest of England. With a rich legacy of excellence and innovation.
Responsibilities:
Develop, prepare, and submit high-quality tender proposals and quotations for Military & Professional boats in defense and security markets.Review customer requirements, define tender specifications, and interpret commercial needs.Coordinate with suppliers and sub-contractors to gather relevant information.Attend pre-tender and post-tender meetings, contributing to process improvements.Maintain the CRM system for efficient tracking and future proposal enhancements.Competence and Experience:
Degree qualified with a strong engineering background.Interest in small high-speed watercraft is preferable.Proficiency in other languages is advantageous.Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain a result-oriented approach.Excellent organizational and project management skills.Experience in cost estimation and technical quotation preparation.Strong communication skills for internal and external engagements.Previous experience in a Sales/Proposal office environment with product and application knowledge.Send your CV to Suzie - call +44 7774 668144.
