Course Structure

Our RYA Day Skipper Course encompasses a diverse curriculum covering essential topics such as navigation, passage planning, seamanship, meteorology, collision avoidance, and emergency procedures. Through a combination of practical exercises and theoretical lessons, participants develop the skills and confidence needed to assume the responsibilities of a skipper.

Useful Information

• Minimum age requirement: 16 years old
• Prior sailing experience recommended, but not mandatory
• Participants aged 16 to 17 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian on private courses.
